Patrick Tagoe-Turkson, born in 1978, Is a Nature/Mixed Media artist. He graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Ghana. Founder of Lontoba Art Studio and Aesthete Ghana, Takoradi, Ghana. Patrick is an environmental and mixed media artist .His art practice involves intervention projects in nature across several countries . His projects are in direct relation to the changing contemporary spaces and ecology. Collaborations with artists, communities, students and the general public as participants, his practice is truly multidisciplinary.From drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, assemblage, photography, video to performance in nature. He has had exhibitions in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, South Korea, France, India, Japan, Germany, Italy, USA, Romania, Hungary and Mexico. His work can be found in private and public collections including The Royal Ontario Museum (Canada), Casoria Contemporary Art Museum (Napoli, Italy) and several private homes both in Ghana and abroad. Tagoe-Turkson is a senior lecturer and head of Department of Industrial Painting and Design, Takoradi Technical University, Takoradi, Ghana.
